Dover-Chris Galanes was born on April 10, 1925 to Stella (Blougaris) and Ernest Galanes. He had 4 older brothers and 1 younger sister. He was a lifelong resident of Dover, working at several local companies as an accountant. He was a Dover High School graduate and a member of the state championship basketball team. He tried out with the Boston Red Sox and was a graduate of Macintosh Business College. He and his wife Irene had 4 children and he's survived by 3 of them and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday Feb 1 at 11:00 am at the Wiggin Purdy McCooey Dion Funeral Home, 655 Central Ave Dover NH
