Obituary for Daniel F. Peavey
Daniel Forrest Peavey, 58, of Barrington, will always be remembered for his courage during difficult times. Unfortunately, the pain became unbearable and Daniel took his own life on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
He was born on May 13, 1962 in Woonsocket, RI; son of Harry C. and Rebecca Dooey Peavey. Daniel was a loving husband, father and papaw. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors of northern Maine with friends and family. He was a man of integrity and was loyal, hardworking and kind.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kelly Norrid Peavey, daughters Haley Peavey Olsten and her husband Shawn Olsten of Dover, NH, Megan Peavey of Brighton, MA, and Sara Peavey of Halifax, Nova Scotia; siblings Jonathan Peavey, Diane Peavey, and Deborah Aldridge; grandson Carson Daniel Olsten; nineteen nephews and nieces, several sisters- and brothers-in-law, cousins, and numerous friends.
He was pre-deceased by parents Harry C. and Rebecca Dooey Peavey, siblings Ann Peavey Rennie, David H. Peavey, Timothy D. Peavey, and niece Laurie A. Rennie.
Friends and family may call from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13 at 655 Central Ave., Dover, NH.
A memorial service will be held in late spring. The location, date, and time to be announced at a later date.
