Obituary for Eric M Scheuer
Durham: Eric Scheuer, 51, died on May 6, 2022 after a brief illness, with his family by his side.
Eric graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1992. After graduation, he remained at UNH for twenty- seven years working as a Research Project Engineer, focusing on atmospheric chemistry. This career allowed him to travel the world. He enjoyed walks in the woods with his wife, where they could appreciate wildlife, hiking, and being outdoors, which Eric loved.
Eric is survived by his wife and partner of 25 years, Linda Sanborn of Durham; his father Eric Sr. of West Roxbury, MA, his sister Lara Demarest and her husband Frank and their two children Matthew and Kathryn, of Durham, and his brother Luke of West Roxbury, MA. He is also survived by his brother- in law Dennis Sanborn and his wife Lisa, sister-in law Cindy Sanborn and her partner Gary Greenaway, and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Eric was predeceased by his mother and step father Margaret (Kane) and Phil Perkins, and his step-mother Laura Elisabeth Sanders.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM on Thursday May 12, 2022 at the Purdy Memorial Chapel, 2 Concord Rd, Lee, NH, and the Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 PM. Interment will be immediately following the service at Durham Cemetery.
