Obituary for Jack Styles Jr.
Jack Styles, Jr., 74, of Barrington, NH, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021, after a brief illness.
Jack was born on April 28, 1947, in Fort Myers, FL to Jack and Tretha (Wooten) Styles. He served in the United States Navy from 1965-1969. In 1968 he married and moved to NH. He lived in Dover for the next few years until he built his first home in Barrington in 1976. He lived in Barrington for many years where he built strong roots in the community. He left the area for a short period, remarried in 1998, and returned to Barrington. He was an active member of his church, Be Free Community Church.
He was employed at Davidson Rubber/Textron, in Dover, for 23 years. During this time he attended classes at NH Vocational Technical School where he received his Master Electricians license. Jack was self-employed as a Master Electrician for decades and well known for his meticulous work.
He was always supportive of his friends with no expectation of anything in return, coming to the rescue of many. He was a real-life superhero. When he wasn’t hard at work, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was very lively, enjoying several activities in the community, lounging by his pool with a margarita, and going out with his girlfriend. He is greatly loved and his presence will be missed tremendously.
Jack is survived by his daughter Jodi Williamson of Epping, NH, son Jack Styles III of Barrington, son Peter Styles of Rochester, daughter Jessica Styles, and son Joshua Styles both of Barrington, NH; his grandchildren Faith Williamson, Haley Williamson, Brody Hannon, Molly Hannon all of Epping, and Jack Styles IV of Barrington; his sisters Katherine Guerin, Charlotte Luettich, Betty Wiggins, and Tretha Galeone all of FL. He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters, Janice Callahan and Deborah Nolan, and a brother, Tommy Behringer.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 4pm-6pm at Purdy Memorial Chapel, 2 Concord Road, Lee, NH 03825. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, 10am, Be Free Church, 118 Church St., Barrington, NH 03825.
