Obituary Jean H. Brunette, 90

Dover – Jean H. Brunette (Keefe), the youngest of nine children of T. Fay and Rosa Keefe, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital after a brief illness.
Mrs. Brunette was a life-long resident of Dover. She graduated from Saint Mary’s Academy and Dover High School. She was pre-deceased by her husband, George E. Brunette in 2002, as well as her four brothers and four sisters.

She is the mother of Stephen Brunette of Midlothian, VA; Rosemary Nesline (Brunette) of Wilmington, MA; and Dan Brunette of Farmington, NH. She leaves behind four grandchildren, Jason, Eva, Kevin and Eric, all of whom she loved and cherished the time she had with them. She will be deeply missed by her daughters-in-law Adriana Bohorquez-Brunette and Kristina Brunette; and son-in-law Karl Nesline. They always welcomed her thoughts and wisdom.

She was known for her generosity and compassion for assisting her friends, neighbors and family members. She was always willing to help those she knew and who needed assistance with errands or medical appointments.
She was known for her realistic and positive approach to life’s daily challenges. She maintained an active social network of former colleague from her early years as a telephone operator, and with friends she met throughout life. She will be remembered for her kindness.

She was a devoted lifetime Red Sox fan. Later in life she relished the games she attended with her family and friends.
She remained active with the St. Mary’s and St. Joseph’s Parishes in Dover.

Respects may be paid at Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home, 655 Central Avenue, Dover, N.H., on Monday, March 14th from 4-6 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15th at The Parish of the Assumption, St. Mary’s Church, Chestnut Street, Dover.
