Joshua Desmarais of Northwood died in an accident on January 6. He was 43 years old.
Josh, as he was affectionately known, graduated from Coe Brown Academy in 1996. He was a tinkerer that enjoyed spending time fixing and upgrading all manner of things mechanical. He loved spending time with his brother Alex and nephews Emmit and Miles and hanging out with his best friends Dan & Kristen Blades and their sons Cody, Zach & Jake who became his “adopted” nephews. Josh gave so freely of his time and skills and his passing leaves a void nothing can fill.
Josh is survived by his parents Arthur & Doreen (Lindahl) Desmarais, his brother Alexander, his nephews Emmit & Miles, is grandmother Madeleine (Norris) Desmarais, a half brother Nicholas Cofferen and many, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will hold a Celebration of Josh’s life in the spring.
