Obituary for Robert John Kressler

Robert John Kressler
Milton: Rob passed away peacefully on February 21st after a long battle with cancer. He was born on February 12th, 1954 in Teaneck, NJ.
Rob is predeceased by his parents, Elsie & Harold and his brother Leon.
He is survived by his wife; Beth; sister Geraldine; son, Justin; daughter, Aubrey; stepsons, Matthew and Noah; grandson, Rowan; in-laws, George and Sandra Estes; brothers-in-laws, Robert and David; nephew, Jeremiah; and nieces, Anastasia and Sophia.
Rob served in the US Air Force from 1972 to 1974. While in the service, he received training to repair and maintain aircraft engines. This led to his becoming a fulltime auto and RV mechanic.
He worked for over 20 years at Dreher-Holloway in Exeter, NH and over 16 years at C&G Automotive and RV Repair in Rochester, NH before retiring due to illness, He had always claimed that he would die with a wrench in his hand.
There seemed to be a weekly knock on the door with someone needing help on their vehicle. Rob would never hesitate. He would always take the time to help them.
Rob was very proud of Justin, Matthew and Noah for their service in the US Navy, US Air National Guard and US Army, respectfully.
Rob always thought of Aubrey as being a bright ray of sunshine in his life.
Rob’s sister, Gerry, was always there for him. Despite living in California, she always made Rob feel like she was right next door.
He was a very good man who will be sorely missed, and fondly remembered, by everyone who knew him --- especially his wife, who he always called Sweet Pea.
Services to be announced at a later date.
