I met Joan Feb 1995 at Riverside. She trained me, and soon became a good friend of mine. She was one of the best aides I've ever worked with. I loved her like she was family. I will miss her very much, more than words can say. My deepest sympathies to all of her family. May you rest in peace my dearest friend. You know I would have been with you if at all possible. I love you

Joan was a wonderful friend and co worker for almost 18 years. I will miss going to breakfast with her after work. I will also miss our many talks while working the 11-7 shift. She was so proud of her family and talked a lot about her travel adventures. She was a very caring and thoughtful person. She was a tremendous aide, always going above and beyond for our residents. If the residents ever needed anything, she would make sure they had it. I am 31 years younger than Joan and she could run circles around me. I admired her and learned so much from her over the years. She showed me so much love and support during some very difficult times in my life. I was very lucky to have known her and will always remember her.
