Karen and I were taken by surprise and very sad to hear of Shirley passing. Karen worked with Shirley at State Street bank, back in early sixties. We all were members of the Ski Bees of North Conway, NH. Shirley was at our wedding and we were at hers when she and Phil were married. We moved to Nevada back in 2004 and Karen continued to call Shirley. We tried every year coming back for our vacation to go and visit her and Phil. One year they drove us up to Portland to take the ferry over to Yarmouth, so I could visit my relative in southern Nova Scotia. Then days later came back up to take us back down to stay with them for the night, in their trailer for that night, then we drove back to our hotel the next day. We have many memories of her when we were all single. Please know that we send our prayers to her brother and her many nieces and nephews during this trying time.
